Bluekulu offers an innovative and cheap solution for eticketing. Currently when a user buys a cinema ticket online, they may be sent an electronic ticket via MMS. This is expensive to send and it cannot be guaranteed that the phone receiving the message can view the MMS graphic.
BlueTicket allows the user that is booking their ticket to enter their bluetooth id when they are buying their ticket. When the user enters the cinema, the user goes to the BlueTicket zone. The Blueticket scanner will detect the phone and send it the electronic ticket.
The system is cheap to implement with no per message costs. It works with billions of phones and the BlueTicket scanner will detect the handset make and model to ensure that a suitable electronic ticket is sent.
