Most of billions of mobile phones currently in use are bluetooth enabled. The Blueloyalty solution allows you to use this feature of phones as the "card".
How does it work?
You install a BlueLoyalty scanner in your stores and install Blueloyalty software on your point of sales computer.
A person registers the phone in the store or over the internet. When they make a purchase, they put their phone next to the scanner at the point of sales. The cashier then puts information about the purchase into the BlueLoyalty system.
When the customers comes back to the store (or a different store), they can be sent customised messages via sms or bluetooth.
Advatanges
The great advantage of BlueLoyalty system over card or tag based systems is that the customer does not need to get an additional tag, key fob or card. The system works over a much longer range (up to 10 meters) so that even if a customer does not buy anything, you can still know that they were in the store.
