Bluekulu used in 15 bus shelters as part of meteor Christmas campaign
We are happy that our system is being used by meteor, the Irish mobile phone company, for their Christmas marketing campaign. 15 bus shelters around the country, run by Adshel are now bluetooth enabled and sending out a nice animated gif and a video to nearby commuters. Each site has the following features:
- The range in each unit is limited to a few meters so that only people really near the poster get invited to download the content
- Each unit has a built in 3G modem that allows it to report in every hour
- The content on each one can be changed at an hours notice

The animated image and poster were created by the client's media company and not by bluekulu. Two videos were also available and Bluekulu was able to remotely update the content on the devices via the built in 3G modems. Bluekulu provided weekly reports to the agencies.
